Apple to Release New Macs with M2 Max and M2 Ultra Chips at WWDC 2023

Apple is reportedly testing new Macs with M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips ahead of its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) next week. The new Macs are expected to be released later this year, and they could offer significant performance improvements over the current M1-based Macs.

The M2 Max chip is a 10-core chip with up to 32 GPU cores. It is expected to offer up to 13% faster CPU performance and up to 40% faster GPU performance than the M1 Max chip. The M2 Ultra chip is a 20-core chip with up to 64 GPU cores. It is expected to offer up to 90% faster CPU performance and up to 110% faster GPU performance than the M1 Ultra chip.
